We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled CNC Programmer/Machinist with a positive attitude to provide leadership and manage our growing CNC Machine Shop. Join a fast paced growing team that works on a variety of parts and serves a diverse customer base.
This position requires the following:

QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 10 years work experience in machine shop/manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory position
• Fluency with CNC Programming. Strong experience with G-Code
• Proficiency with CNC Mills and Lathes
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build an effective team. Strong work and moral ethic
• Experience in safety, LEAN practices, and ISO standards.
• Complete knowledge of production scheduling and shop orientation
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experienced with Microsoft Office Programs
• ERP experience with Epicor is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, reward and discipline to maintain a fully capable, stable workforce
• Interpret specifications, blueprints and job orders to workers, and assign duties
• Interface with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met
• Program, set up and operate Haas CNC Vertical Mills and Okuma CNC Lathes
• Manage the daily manufacturing activities at the shop floor level
• Provide training and guidance regarding quality, safety, and productivity
• Recommend and implement changes to improve operational efficiency
• Ensure that all quality, safety, OSHA and EPA procedures are implemented
• Suggest and/or implement improvements for machine tools and process technology to improve quality, cost and cycle times
• Design and manufacture fixtures for Mill operation
• Provide job costs estimates
• Perform basic preventative/corrective maintenance on equipment or tooling

Become part of the New Era at KTI. KTI, a manufacturer of auxiliary equipment for the Printing and Converting Industry, has an opening for a Field Service Technician. We are looking for a dedicated, hard-working, and dependable candidate with a positive-attitude to join our team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Well versed with machine electrics/controls: AC & DC circuits, AC & DC drives, three phase motors, pneumatics, and PLC’s.
  • Mechanically inclined (previous machine assembly experience would be a plus)

DUTIES

  • Machine installation, service, and repair – travel required
  • Customer training
  • In house machine testing
  • Phone support – trouble shooting customer calls and assisting with part calls

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be willing to travel regularly; travel is generally weekdays with an occasional weekend
  • Some international travel
  • Must be well organized
  • Must have a positive attitude
  • Must work well with others in a team environment
  • People skills are a huge plus

QUALIFICATIONS
Mechanically inclined
Versed with machine electronics /controls
AC & DC circuits
Ability to read electrical and pneumatics schematics
Proficient with using basic hand tools
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
Excellent attention to detail

DUTIES
Mechanical sub assembly
Machine assembly
Route cables and pneumatic lines
Label and terminate all incoming field wiring
Wire three- phase and single- phase motors

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must be well organized
Must have a Positive Attitude
Must work well with others in a team environment
People skills is a MUST
Able to climb up and down ladders
Must have basic hand tools (all specialty tools will be supplied)

Mechanical Engineering Manager

 Become part of the New Era at KTI. KTI, Quantum Design Company and a manufacturer of auxiliary equipment for the Printing and Converting Industry, has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Engineering Manager. We are looking for a dedicated, hard-working, and dependable candidate with a positive-attitude to join our team.

This position requires the following:

 QUALIFICATIONS

  •  BS degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 7 years minimum design experience
  • 5 years minimum supervisory experience
  • Strong mechanical engineering skills
  • Experienced with SolidWorks and MRP systems
  • Experienced with drafting standards and GD&T
  • Experienced with machinery safety standards and risk assessment
  • Knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes

RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Supervise others and work to maintain project schedules, quality, and budget
  • Responsible for the design and documentation of industrial machinery in accordance with company standards
  • Work to maintain a high level of product standardization
  • Manage engineering change requests and value engineering
  • Provide support to the Machine Shop and Assembly Floor to identify and resolve manufacturing issues
  • Provide support to the Service Department to identify and resolve failure and performance issues
  • Keep current with common machinery safety standards, and risk assessment procedures and insure designs are in compliance
  • Establish and maintain engineering procedures and standards
  • Conduct regular design reviews

  •  Must be well organized with the ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects

  • Proficient with MS Office
